PaperCut NG允许管理员使用数据和时间的方式对Internet的使用情况计费。 这些计费模式在“如何操作Internet的控制服务”章节里有描述。
Internet的使用费用通过其它计费选项计费也是有效的。这些在下面表格中有描述。

Charge for cached data | If this option is selected, the users will be charged for Internet usage when the user accesses data that is stored in the proxy cache. Some organization choose not to charge for cached data because this data does not cost them anything, because no data was downloaded from the Internet. |
Charge sent data (upstream data) | If this option is selected, the users will be charged for Internet data sent from the user to the Internet (this is known as upstream data). This will include data like attachments uploaded to web-mail clients. NOTE: That not all proxy server support reporting of upstream data (e.g. Squid). If running one of these proxies, PaperCut NG will never charge or log upstream data usage. |

PaperCut NG允许管理员定义一系列不用计费的域和用户。通常鼓励学生在Internet上访问有关教育方面的信息。 此方式有效的定义了在装有PaperCut NG的域上他们不需要付费。
列出的被忽略的域列表将自动与给定域的所有子域相匹配。例如，输入mydomain.edu 将也忽略www.mydomain.edu
and mail.mydomain.edu。 所有使用的教育网域可以忽略以下行而使用edu。这将访问后而不被计费：www.myschool.edu
or www.otherschool.edu.

建议您输入域名时不包括www.
(e.g. www.domain.com)，因为www 组件通常是可选择的。 所以建议您仅输入domain.com。
有时候管理员要定义一系列对于 Internet 的使用而不用计费的用户。这些帐户通常是管理压帐户，或其它不需要 Internet使用配额或监控的管理职员。如果用户在列表中被忽略那么 Internet 的行为活动将不被记录给用户。
